Life has been incredibly busy for us lately. Lots of good things happening! We left our jobs as property managers (couldn't keep up with the kids and the job) and we rented a nice little house in Beaverton. We love our little house, it's just the right size for us, 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a garage. We live on a cul-de-sac with lots of kids and our neighbors are all fantastic. I wish we had a much larger back yard but we'll just have to wait until we buy our own house. We also LOVE our ward, just a really great group of people and again lots of kids.
I finished up my second semester back at BYU-Idaho (online) and was able to complete the final classes I need to get my Associates degree! Yay! Now I just need to work towards my Bachelor's in Business Management. I have to put it probably 3 more years (at half time) in order to finish, but I think it will be worth it.
I started a new job about 3 weeks ago as a Bookkeeper for The Michael Larson Co., I had worked there as a clerk a few years back and I was able to get hired back on in this new role. I really like it, the work is challenging and interesting and the people I work with are wonderful! Couldn't ask for a better place to work. It's hard being away from the kiddos I'm really kind of sad about not being around all the time for them and missing the things we like to do together especially in the summer. That's been the biggest sacrifice for me, moving away from the property management position I've had to sacrifice full-time motherhood. It was a tug of war between being home full-time and my sanity, I couldn't take the constant interruptions anymore. Sanity won out. :)
The kids have been super busy lately with swimming lessons, cub scouts, school, play-dates and church activities. I have a hard time keeping up with them. Currently we are in a quieter stretch as we wrap up the school year. They have a concert coming up, Lindsay has kindergarten graduation and lots of hard work at school.
Lindsay is 6 and has been doing so well in Kindergarten, I'm very proud of her! She's a jabber-box and when she gets with her friends you can see the teenager in her (!!!!). She's still shy but she just gave a fantastic performance with her class in their "Poetry Open Mic" night. She performed Jack be Nimble and did very well. Every time I look at her I see just a beautiful young lady and I'm enjoying watching her grow.
Logan is 8 and is ALL boy, we endure a lot of body noises around here or as I like to call them "boy noises." He did very well in his swimming and was able to move up a level. This has been a struggle for him and I was so proud to watch him work hard. He's really enjoyed tennis and badminton this year in PE and so we've signed him up for a tennis class this summer. He's done very well at making friends this year, something that has been hard for him. His best friend, Johnny and him are quite the pair!

Katie will be 2 this Friday the 10th (so sad) and I love every little bit of her. Yes, even the temper tantrum throwing side of her. She loves her big brother and sister SO much and watches everything they do. She loves to be like mommy too and I will often find her getting into my purse or carrying her own purse around. She LOVES to push her baby around in the stroller and play with any one that will play with her. Katie is a fast one, she is super sneaky too and if I'm not careful she's halfway down the block! Katie also took quite a spill the other day, she was running away from Trent because she didn't want to get dressed and she tripped and hit the corner of our wall (put a dent in it too!). She got a big nasty gash on her head and we took her to the doctor where they glued it together. She's doing fine but man it's an ugly thing, plus then the blood drained down through her eyes so she has looked like someone gave her two black eyes! Oh the looks we get!
Her new favorite activity is jumping on the trampoline
Our last exciting news is that in 3 weeks we will be heading to Walt Disney World! We had not planned on going for a few years since we went to Disneyland last year, but thanks to the generosity of Trent's parents (who are taking all their kids and families) we get to go spend a week in Florida hanging out with the Mouse! We are all super excited and getting ready to go has been lots of fun!
Well that's a lot but I think that catches me up for now!
