June 2013

So obviously I'm way behind in posting, so I'm just going to go month by month to catch up and try and highlight a few things from each month.

June started off with a bang, the kids finished school, skipped their camp week and we headed to Orlando for some serious fun with the Brown family at Walt Disney World! Thanks to Trent's extremely generous parents we were able to enjoy a very wonderful vacation.

Fun fact: Did you know that June 1st is the start of Hurricane season in the south? Me neither!

We had a blast with Trent's ENTIRE family, that included Barbara and Danny, Trent and his 5 siblings as well as their spouses, plus 8 children, we were a crew of 20 and it was awesome!

Getting ready to hit the pool! There were 7 pools, and one had a lazy river!

Lindsay went to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and became Royalty! Money well spent, the hair lasted for two days, but she still talks about it.

The WHOLE family got to ride this awesome Monster Bus through an Orange Grove tour, it was really fun.
Here's most of us

We headed to Epcot for our first day at the Parks, my kids loved it, they thought Test Track was wonderful, and it was different, lots to look and learn about.

Katie LOVED Minnie Mouse, she made sure that we all hugged her!

It was exhausting.

We came back after a break and Katie had to see Minnie again!

Next Day was Hollywood Studios, so/so not my favorite, but we enjoyed Toy Story, Star Tours and the special Effect ride.

Aunt Melanie made all the girls cute, matching Minnie Bows!

The third day we all went to the Magic Kingdom park together. Here is us with Barbara and Danny.
Each shirt had Brown on the Top with a number representing your entry into family. Obviously Danny was #1! They were our "Danny Brown" jerseys. Again I have to give credit to my talented Sister in-laws! So clever and cute!

The best part was that our shirts got us lots of positive attention, we got noticed by a ton of characters.

Here are the wicked stepsisters commenting on the girls shirts.

The Fairy Godmother noticed us all day long, she waved at us every time she saw us over the two days we were there. It was awesome!

Here are all the grandkids, front and back.

The whole group.

And then the tropical storm hit us, I have never seen such huge warm raindrops, or so much rain, and I'm a born and raised Oregonian. It was nuts, so our plans for that day had to be changed, especially with the lighting and thunder and tornado warnings. So we improvised. We played at the resort that had Bingo, watched movies, they had a kid activity center and then we enjoyed a family dinner.

We then went to Downtown Disney where we went to the Lego store

Logan was so happy he was actually nice to his sister! Haha!

A few of us had one last day so we went to the Magic Kingdom again.

Trent's favorite princess. ;)

Lindsay saw Rapunzel

and Cinderella.

It was fun but exhausting!

So grateful for kind and generous in-laws who spoil us so! Couldn't have done it without them.
